If a minority want to secede, then why not? Why are you so desperate to be with people who don't want to be with you?

The Freedom Front was formed to advocate precisely this, a seperate state for Afrikaners.

Hav the current FF+ abandoned this goal? If not, I don't see the need for the Front Nasionaal/Front National.

I always find it strange that people get so worked up by Afrikaner self-determination. A quick trip around Google will make it clear that there are many, MANY groups that pursue self-determination.

No, I don't want to live in an Afrikaner enclave, but I do understand that certain people want to be on their own and embrace their own identity (culture, language, religion, ethnicity, etc).

A large number of them, but not all. A lot of them are just strong nationalistic movements, especially in Western Europe. Sure some groups were oppressed 200-years or more ago, but have since functioned as equals in society while still harbouring ideals of their own states.
