Dimension Data co-founder and former top executives to appeal fraud ruling

Former Dimension Data executives recently found to have orchestrated an "illegal scheme" when they allegedly presided over the sale of The Campus business park have said they will appeal the Johannesburg High Court's ruling.

Last week, NTT (formerly Dimension Data) announced that the court had ruled in their favour after launching legal action against the former executives in 2023.

Directors guilty of crimes should automatically be declared delinquent and prevented from ever holding a directorship again.

They don't seem to have addressed whether or not the benefitted from the transaction though?

For all the talk of black fund manager, private equity, etc which are all valid, why did the judge rule in NTT's favour?

They appealing because they were not sitting on both sides of the transaction.? They not going to succeed unless they get Makate's or Zuma's lawyers.

These guys made a killing when they sold to NTT and looks like Jeremy Ord made R170m or so back then. Why do anything dodgy at all? Take the money, travel & enjoy life
