Former Eskom executive set to return as CFO

Former Eskom financial director Paul O’Flaherty is likely to return to the company as its new chief financial officer, according to the Sunday Times.

O’Flaherty worked at the power utility from 2009 to 2013, where he created a funding plan to improve the company’s operations and systems.

Not what I wrote.

Implying something it is a thing, no need to say it out loud. And there has always been white people in senior management position in SOEs, yet here you are going on as if this is a first since 1994. Or was O'Flaherty one of those "who lost his job because of BEE"?

BEE is implicitly hiring based on color vs hiring based on competence.
There can be no claim otherwise.

My question here is are we moving away from forced BEE where it is convenient for the government?
Isn't this implicitly a declaration that BEE is a failure?

The way it's implemented does not gel with what you are saying. Quotas, AA only ads, etc.

Yes some companies do say AA only because they want to fill EE targets but it doesn't mean they hire the first correct skin color off the street.

It does mean that an incorrect skin colour has no chance though.
