I reckon all the other engine manufacturers have the expertise and the budget to match Mercedes next year , does it mean there is a chance Ferrari , Mclaren-Honda and Red bull-Renault will beat Mercedes fair and square next year and one of them even winning the constructors championship ?

Ferrari maybe, Red Bull unlikely, Honda definitely not. There's too much speculation still surrounding RB's likely engine supplier and Honda would need to find between 3 and 4 seconds a lap to be competitive (not to mention sort out reliability).

Next year will be Mercedes, Ferrari and Williams again. Best that Honda could hope for (imo) is to make it regularly into the top 10

The only reason why i think Redbull wont be competitive is because Renault has bought lotus so they might give Redbull ****ty engines otherwise chassis wise Redbull is the best by far.

Absolutely! Which is why Ferrari won't supply them current spec engines (and based on your comment, I can understand their reticence). I said in an earlier post though, that a b-spec Fezza engine would surely be better than the 'A-spec' Renault donkey in the back of this year's RBR F1 car...

Lets not forget Renault provided an engine that went on to win 4 Constructors' Champion and they were better than Ferrari in 2014 and this year have achieved 3 podiums. If what Ho3n3r is saying is correct then and Renault are fair then Redbull will be right there with Ferrari challenging for podiums.

I know Alonso is the jealous type but why on earth would he hate Sebastian Vettel ? I also know he was angry with Vitaly Petrov for not letting him pass at Abhu dhabhi 2010 which cost him the WC but isnt that racing ?
