Hi there

I have a failed FortiWifi unit which I need to replace. Does anyone know of a supplier in Cape Town I can get one from ASAP?

Have you tried Maxtec?

Thanks Hunter I did give them a call. I got voicemail and although someone did get back to me, by then I'd made contact with a very helpful guy Nicolaas at a company called Sisonke Solutions in Walmer Estate. He told me to bring my broken unit through to their office, which I did, and he immediately set about trying to revive it.

Initial attempts were unsuccessful, but he told me he'd take it home and if he wasn't successful, he'd bring through his own personal fortigate for us to use while we ordered a replacement. I got a whatsapp at 11pm the night saying he'd gotten the unit to work again would be bringing it to the office the morning. I was very impressed when he rocked up at our office early yesterday with our unit. We were up and running as soon as I reloaded our .conf file from backup. We're trading in our failed unit and will have ordered 2 fortigate's so we can run them in high availability mode (It's amazing how a day without internet can loosen the purse strings :-)
