Fortnite Save The World

Can someone please explain this to me? My son says I must buy Save The World for him. Is it a seperate game to Fortnite, or just another module or world?

Doesn't this come free with a gamepass?

Do I purchase it from the Epic Store? My kid is a PC Player.

Oh and what is the price currently? I googled and get old articles saying $19.99 but its over R600 on the Playstation Store.

So Fortnite is a single game with 2 modes, Battle Royal and Save The World.

Save the world is a co-op mission-based mode. Open up fortnite and select Save the World, you will have an option to purchase the mode.

So Fortnite is free but I have to pay to play the co-op version?
 
Wait till he asks you for V-bucks to purchase battle passes, skins and shyte... My kid is always looking for V-bucks. At least I get chores done around the house then :D

Tell him to grind it out on the free battle pass, you can easily save up enough V-bucks in a year

He buys that monthly one, where he needs to get I think lvl 100 or what not and get's rewards along the way in the form of V-Bucks. If he saves that he can buy the next one. But he doesn't. Keeps on buying the latest and newest skins and shyte :D

Kids will be kids :D

He actually doesnt buy anything besides battle passes. I have to buy 600 vbucks ($5). This is the 2nd time this year I have to spend funds on Fortnite for him.
 
Well, at least you get some free skins and stuff when you complete missions in Save the World, but R600 is crazy. I paid R250 for it on PC

Yea meant my kid :D

Even if you just buy one battle pass he'll be able to unlock items and enough V-bucks for the next battle pass or something like that. I don't know the game myself, I just know from what I have seen here and there from the laaitie
 
I've spent nearly R2k on Fortnite since I started playing... Help me.

Why are you looking at PS store prices if your kid plays on PC?

Same here. But now it's Roblox as well. I am running out of stuff for him to do around the house.
