Hi folks

We received complains from members about unsolicited email being sent using this forum. This is definitely not desirable behavior. If you would like to inform members about something, please make use one of the forums. The forum mailing system is a valuable tool if two members would like to communicate privately, but should not be used for any other purpose like marketing etc. I will appreciate all member’s cooperation in this regard.

I sent the email request mentioned here by RPM

I believe my action is resonable, and I am not a spammer or marketeer.

the ultimate purpose of all the forums ,--it must lead to meaningful actions
or it would be just another place wasting people's time to just do talking.

To those of you complained to RPM ,Did you get my complete e-mail ?

gooku, if you have such a brilliant idea, why not just post it here for everyone to see?

The organiser is waiting for the best timing.
other considerations apply.this is a muti-front campaign
that is all I know so far

Dear co-member

I have an e-mail about protesting against Telkom's overprice ...........consequences

if you reply to me I will send it to you.

otherwise Gooku apologise for taking 2 Kb of your hard disk space
and the time taken to read this email, and I am not a spammer or marketeer

Regards

I have received gooku's email, replied to it and received the message.

I think it is a good initiative and we should all support it.

As for the idea that it is spam - that's ridiculous [8D]

I have no problem with getting e-mail from members from the site, but please, for goodness sakes, send it once and not 5 times Gooku, so 5 * 5 = 25Kb of disk space, yes, they were 5Kb each :) - Gooku, please send me a copy of the e-mail so I to can have a look at it.

And this time, only one copy :)

I only have time to send one request to each member(ABOUT 50 MEMBERS),maybe some unknown force is helping me sent them 5 times.
I apologise for that 25 KB,:)

more coming soon

Gooku

Here's a suggestion; instead of sending a completely pointless e-mail instead of sending an e-mail asking if you can send the e-mail... why not just send the e-mail? In the first case, I receive one e-mail if I answer no, and two e-mails if I answer yes. In the second case, I receive one e-mail no matter what.

In any case, it should just have been posted on the forum in the first place.
