Three men and a woman have been arrested in Kempton Park for suspected possession of cocaine, Gauteng police said on Thursday.
The group were arrested on Wednesday after being searched, Captain Jethro Mtshali said.
Patrolling police became suspicious of the four in a car and pulled it over.
"The driver... showed police a police badge and between his legs was a toy gun. On further investigation it was established that he was not a police member."
Handcuffs and a plastic bag containing a white powder, believed to be cocaine, were found in the car. The four are due to appear in court soon facing a drug charge, and possibly a charge of impersonating a police officer.
