Housing has become insanely expensive, that is why 1st time buyer numbers went down. Period.
 
Agreed....

I'm looking at becoming a 1st time buyer some time soon, and the figures I'm seeing scare the living daylights out of me. Earning the salary I'm earning now, I doubt I could even afford a vaguely decent 1 bedroom flat.
