Fox Biased? Never...

There's those fantasies again. It's Fazda not Fudzy.....

My bad. Apologies, Fudzy: I meant Fazda. (That wasn't a fantasy though, that was a mistake.)

In fact to those of us in the real world can see I was in agreement with him. I clearly stated Fox news was biased.

Ah, so you're actually just rejecting him for stating the obvious. Which is exactly what I did!

Damn. I knew we were brothers under the skin and now it's been proven! God, I love you Alan! ;)

My speech to the Young Britons Foundation in the Commons the other day went quite well, especially the bit where I said that the current batch of Tories were a bunch of something beginning with “C” (and it wasn’t “Conservatives.”) Afterwards one of the bright young things asked me whether the first step to restoring Britain’s fortunes might be the abolition of the BBC. My answer went something like: “Duh!”

It would have been even more of a “Duh!” had I known about the appointment of Vladimir Stalin – or “Nicolai Gentchev” to give him his current SPECTRE agent name – as Question Time’s new editor. I appreciate that BBC hadn’t got too much leeway in the matter: once they’d decided to base the programme in Glasgow, they were hardly going to recruit a member of the Monday Club for the job. Even so, Agent Gentchev’s past scribblings for International Socialism Journal and Socialist Review hardly suggests that the BBC’s political discussion flagship is about to head in a rightward direction.

Whenever you talk to anyone from the BBC about Question Time, they always boast about how incredibly balanced it is. “You realise David Dimbleby is actually a Tory, you know?” they say. And they tell you about all the efforts the programme makes to ensure scrupulous neutrality. How each prospective audience member has to submit a DNA sample, a 10,000-word thesis and a Rorschach test which is then assessed for five years by a team of expert experts to ensure that they accurately reflect the national demography and voting patterns.

It’s absolute tosh, though. BBC Question Time is “balanced” in the same way that the new chairman of the BBC Trust Chris Patten is “Conservative”.

Speaking of state funded leftwing mouthpieces.....

An undercover video of a departing National Public Radio fundraising executive shows him nodding in agreement as men posing as representatives of a Muslim Brotherhood front group rip Jewish control of the media.

Eventually, the President of the NPR Foundation and VP for development, Ron Schiller chimes in, saying that Zionist influence doesn't exist at NPR, but "it's there in those who own newspapers obviously."

The video also shows Schiller ripping Tea Parties, evangelical Christians, and Americans in general for being stupid. He also says NPR would be better off in the long run without federal funding.

The video was put together by James O'Keefe of the ACORN sting fame. It was announced yesterday that Schiller was leaving NPR for the Aspen Institute.

It's pretty disheartening how socially acceptable anti-Semitism has become among intellectuals as long as it's cloaked as criticism of Israel. This is something that Jewish conservatives have warned about for a long time, but our warnings are dismissed as an effort to silence legitimate criticism.

NPR's chief exec also had to resign.

Strange Fazda didn't post this example of bias since he claims to have an issue with it.....

But ... the guy resigned. If he'd done all those things and remained CEO, that would be a serious indication of bias, wouldn't it?

Come on, Alan. It feels like you're drifting away from me already... :(

only because he was caught on camera. I don't expect you to understand......

Ah - so all we have to do now is catch a Fox News guy lying on camera AND YET remaining in his job.

Tch, tch, tch. Where to start!

All news agencies are biased. There's nothing wrong with that. Any claim to being unbiased is fatuous and meretricious at best.

What I do have a problem with is prejudice - it makes up its mind before or despite the facts. This is Fazda's problem. And his sources. They neither recognise nor acknowledge their prejudice, and if you don't see the world through their lenses you must be mad or stupid. The arrogance would be galling if it weren't so funny.

That is a probably a mental disease.

Fazda didnt mention you, but you sure had a go at his character. Passive aggressive bitchiness and character assassination are a much greater sign of mental dysfunction than someone exposing the corruption of a corrupt channel. Think about it... wouldnt it be nice to chat about Fox instead of running down Fazda? Just saying....

pot calling the kettle black....

He had already announced he was leaving for another job before that video was released.

Both news groups have some good and some bad. Both sides are hypocritical.

It is not often you see either side admitting that they are hypocritical.

Both sides are EXTREMELY quick to point out the evil or wrong doings of the either side and ignore their own.

I would love for the day when Alan posts an article on here criticising FOX and Fudzy posting an article criticising MSNBC and the like such as Rachel Maddow.

That would give them some credit or credability, but when you see people such as (But not necessarily) Fudzy blaming Palin for the shooting that took place, based on a picture she had of cross hairs over states, but not saying anything when Dem supporters have pictures of cross hairs over actual people, then they don't deserve my time.

And Alan is a war-monger in my opinion (Just my opinion...don't take offence)...so I don't give him too much credability, I just like attacking Dem's when they dig their own holes (As it is easy) as Dem's and liberals give off this air of intellectual superiority in my experience, so I prefer attacking them than conservatives. It is more fun thats all.

Please don't associate me with Fudzy's crowd. Contrary to their constant insane ramblings about me supporting Fox News I have never defended Fox News. Their assertion is FOX has a monopoly on bias while I say all news networks are biased including FOX News. So it's clearly not 2 sides of the same coin.

If by warmonger you mean I prefer removing tyrants by force rather than have hundreds of thousands of innocent citizens killed through sanctions leaving the ruling regime largely untouched. Then yes, damn straight I am.

Sanctions are an act of war.

A peaceful nation has neither sanctions nor military intervention.
