When will DSTV be adding Fox News to their service? CNN really predictable with news commentary...

I doubt it will be any time soon since they already have so many other news channels. But if you are a Donald Duck supporter DSTV also has other news channels that may suit you better including the Russian RT News.

I've subscribed to their youtube channel. I've been watching how they actually report facts about real issues and then commentate thereto rather than obscuring facts with meaningless reported more important stories etc.

Matter of opinion it seems... Take it no answer from you about my original question...?

What did you expect, Hendrik? To get an inside scoop from a DSTV employee who's also a myBB member on their internal product pipeline? That'd be a fireable offence, so there is no way anybody would be doing that.

So no, most people here cannot answer your question, and the few who might be able to won't be permitted to. With that out of the way, all that's left is for myBB members to debate the merit of your original question, which is what's happening now.

If you don't like Fox News, maybe you'd prefer Sky News instead (which is on DSTV)?

Seriously though, you should be aware of all the allegations around Rupert Murdoch (the media mogul who founded Fox News and a lot of other big media enterprises) tampering with the media to get his points of view across in the news. I wouldn't take it as the Holy Grail, not by a long shot.

Seriously, no history lecture required. Your 1st paragraph does make sense however.

I was sort of hoping someone could have an idea of the possibility of this channel coming to DSTV, but point taken...

Also, I'm sure note of the news media channels at this stage can be taken as the Holy Grail...

CNN used to be the gold standard of international news. They've slipped down to cartoon status of the last few years. Sad really.
