Anyone watch(ed) this series?

When it came out I did not pay much attention to it but then got into it. Really good watching if you ask me.

See they are rebroadcasting it again wish meand I can catch up on the first couple of episodes I missed :D
 
My name is now mud.I have every episode of Foyles War on my Pvr to the best of my knowledge.Considering buying the series but it is expensive.About R1600.00 at Kalahari .net.My PVR is now running high on used disc space.Look and Listen,Phase 2 and Musica do not have the Series.
 
Seen all the episodes. Remember seeing the first series on MNet(IIRC) years ago.

There's another series coming set after war as well.

That would be Series 7 which is June to August 1945.

It has aired on ITV from 2001 and was originally axed in 2007 by director of television Simon Shaps, but thanks to a number of complaints and a large public demand, ITV decided to revive the series after its sixth series proved to be a ratings success in 2008.[1][2] Series 7 commenced filming in February 2009, with all regular cast members returning.[3] [4]

Anyone watch Lewis which is a spinoff of Inspector Morse? I used to love that show but the dude was one serious slab of misery :D

I agree. Great series. Perhaps you should order the complete series box set from Amazon.co.uk. I did last month. Took a couple of weeks to get here and with R122 in customs charges it came to R839. That's a saving of R761.

I'm getting gatvol of the way we are being ripped off here by crowds like Kalahari and Musica. For really big items like box sets, it is almost always cheaper to buy from overseas suppliers direct. And, if it gets stolen en route, they will replace it.
 
Series 7 started on Sunday. Good as always
 
This is one series I miss since migrating to TopTV, luckily there are other crime stuff to watch :)
 
Due to Eskom power faliure I have to wait to watch Series 7 Episode 1 this Sunday morning ... thanks Eskom!! Love the series ... Acorn media has a good price on the complete box set ... 99 Pounds .... but I'll wait out the year to see if another series is comissioned.
