FPS drop

Could this also not be a PSU Wattage issue? I haven't gamed on a desktop for ages but I recall a similar issue with my 9800GTX GPU on a 450W PSU. Popped in a 600W PSU and the issue went away.
 
ok tell me what's your settings? You can get better fps if you drop the aa a bit
 
I have an i3 550 (at 3.2Ghz stock) with 4Gb Ram and a GTX460 (1Gb) and I experienced no lag when playing BF3. Resolution was at 1080p and most settings on high. Shadows always on low to medium with all games I play and AA turned off. When playing at that resolution you don't actually need AA or AF in my opinion.
