PS3
What exactly does co op survival mode on COD MW3 mean?
Does this mean that myself and a friend can play together as a team against the bad guys? Is this split screen?

Also, being a new gamer I'm struggling with multiplayer. I've been playing MOH and COD MW3 and I cannot seem to get some sort of decent results. I'm always up against people on a much higher level than what I am.

Any tips on improving my game play?

Getting a PC is not an option and never will be.

The way I understand it is that on multiplayer, you'll always be playing with/against people using the same platform which in my case is PS3, is this correct?

Also, get BF1 OR 4. Stay away from the kiddie games(cod)

Yes you will only play with players using a PS3, those games have been around for a while so the players most likely playing now have been playing for yonks....
