So this is just a bit of a rant actually. My Switch is now about 2 years 3 months old. It has seen quite a lot of playtime, and the console itself is still 100%. My gripe is with the fragile joycons. I have two sets in total, so 4 joycons. My one left joycon has bad drift, and now it doesn't work wirelessly in single mode anymore. I traced the wireless issue down to the LED/SL/SR flat cable inside the joycon that stopped working. The second left joycon also has bad drift. Both issues are well known, so not an isolated case.

I have ordered the parts to fix everything - R638 total incl shipping (2 x analog sticks, 1 x left ribbon cable for SL/SR/LED). It's not expensive and I'm handy with repairs, but my launch PS4 controllers are still going strong 6 years later for comparison. To top it all, Nintendo/Core have the audacity to charge ~R1700 for a new pair of joycons. Sigh, Nintendo tax and all that.

Damnit Nintendo, you guys really screwed up with the controllers this time.
