Frail Care - Gauteng

Hey guys, bit of a sensitive topic.
My mother has had a massive stroke and is bedridden and needs constant care.
I'm looking for a frail care centre that can help take care of her. The ones I've found charge 30k plus per month.
Does anyone know of an affordable one? (is there such a thing)

Strongs to you and your family Macbeth. Its such a difficult position to be in, especially if its your mom. You want the best for her but unfortunately these frail cares homes are ridiculously expensive.
I had a similar situation about 10 years ago with my aunt. She also had a stroke and needed constant care. We searched all over Joburg to find an affordable place. We were lucky to find Frédéric place in Coronationville at that time. They were great, very helpful and took good care of her. If I remember correctly they charged us about 2k to 3k plus her govt pension money. She stayed there for about 5 years before she passed.

Ya, that's what we ended up doing. You would need to do a lot of it your self and you need the space but it can be cheaper.
