Any of you that has done a few of these tours?

When booking online, there are so many different tours ("lines") to choose from, that I am uncertain which one to pick. Any great/not-so-great experiences? Or recommendations?

Thank you.

We had the best time ever on the tram, I think they do occasionally change their routes when they add a new spot, but we preferred to be on one that had Leopard's Leap as the lunch stop.

Done it 3 or 4 times, all different routes, all amazing. Just pick a route that goes to farms that you like, it's that simple. It's almost impossible to do all the farms on a route in one day, you can usually only do 5 or 6 (7 at a push if you rush through and possibly skip lunch - not recommended).

I did it with my ex-wife and friends a few years back and from what I remember it was great and a definite must if in Franschhoek.

pffft. If you remember it , it could not have been great...:giggle:

My advice is to do the purple line as that gets you onto the actual tram on the railway line. A great part of the experience with many excellent farms on that route.
