Every time there's load shedding, i would struggle to get my line working again. It would always sync, but there won't be any internet. Usually phoning telkom and doing a port recreate solved it. Until it didn't. After one case of load shedding it just didn't want to work.
I logged a fault. Technician came about two weeks later and said there is nothing wrong with the line up to my router. It might be my isp. So I tried the telkom guest account. After a while it worked! I changed back to vox and was connected again.
Then there was load shedding.
So now the telkom guest account doesn't work, nothing works. I've ordered a new router and hopefully that was the issue. Has anyone had a similar experience?
