Free Blackberry Playbook to Android Developers

I have been reading online today that Android developers who submit an application to the BB AppWorld will get a free Playbook. My two questions are: a) does anyone know if this applies to South Africa as well since we normally get second class treatment b) did anyone on the forum get a Playbook back when RIM was offering them to anyone who submitted a Playbook app before their release. I have a couple of apps I did with AppInventor and might give it a shot and repackage them if this applies to SA as well

Well I would venture a guess that if you can set up as a vendor on BB dev that you would qualify. My company is registered in NZ so not 100% sure if SA is allowed. I would think so as you can apply for a signing key as a South African.

Only things to mention is if you app is created via AppInventer its not going to be so easy to convert to BB esp if you only have the APK files.

Only problem I have is the only mention of this free Playbook is on Alec Saunders twitter account. I dont see a single mention of it on BB's websites.
