Free data bundle on Yebo4Less?

Looks like for the past few months, Vodacom has been giving my mom a 250Mb data bundle each month. Any idea why? I'm assuming it's a promotional thing (she's on Yebo4Less prepaid). Does anyone know how long this promotion will be carrying on for? Don't want her to get used to using data, then start using up airtime when the promotional data ends!

My mom has also been receiving free data but I wouldn't encourage her to use the data as she isn't a smartphone user at all.

This is just another marketing stunt to encourage people with smartphones/tablets to start using their devices to surf the net/download apps etc and purchase bundles that way the service provider lure unsuspecting victims. My mom's friend airtime was all gone. I narrowed it down to her smartphone wanting to update the OS.

By default I disable mobile data - only time I enable mobile data is when I need to utilize it.

That 100/250 mb data giving you is just a sample :p

Please change her from Yebo4less to vodacom anytime per second as the Yebo4less is the MOST expensive price plan in the WORLD! The discounts are useless and its just not worth it.

+1, your just forcing yourself to call past 19:00 and don't really get that much discount especially if other person isn't on Vodacom.
It's better to go on 120c and then use R5 power hour for longer calls.

If you make a 1 minute 1 sec call during the day it'll cost you more than R5...
