Hi, where can one get tested for diabetes for free in Johannesburg?

Hmmmm nothing is usually free. Maybe a government clinic or hospital is your best bet my guess.

I am sure I had some test or jab done at Clicks once and it was pretty cheap. maybe phone them and ask price

Alternatively, for Type 2 diabetes, you can do a free check in any garage store. Walk in, and if you suddenly have a pack of wine gums and a Cornetto in your hands, you’re Type 2.

Any Dischem or Clicks or other pharmacy clinic. Not free but not expensive unless you want to wait the whole day at a government clinic...
Or... ask somone you know who is diabetic to test you.
Or go lie in your bed and eat 5 bars of chocolate and see if you pass out...
