...does not integrate properly :(

I'm reduced to copying and pasting download links for downloads :(

Anybody able to get it to work with FF3?

I am using the FlashGot addon with FF3 and FDM. Works a charm.

Yes, I was gonna say, are you using flashgot? it passes off the download to your download manager of choice. I use mine with getright.

Uninstall FDM. Make sure it's not in FF's addons anymore. Install again and go make sure its firefox browser integration is enabled.

There's a new version available.

Will download and see if it helps.

FDM's got much more control over your downloads than flashgot. Throttling the download to certain speeds are one.

All flashgot does is pass off the download to your system's download manager. It is not a Download Manager in and of itself...

Important notice!

Do not tell us or others that "FlashGot doesn't work" if you have no download manager installed or, worse, if you don't know what a download manager is. If it is not clear enough, let's put it in bold letters: in order to use this extension, YOU REALLY NEED AN EXTERNAL DOWNLOAD MANAGER (pick yours in the dozen listed above).
FlashGot was born only to integrate Firefox with external download manager programs: no wonder that if no download manager is installed, FlashGot does not work!

Flashget is a better free download manager IMHO and works well with flashgot.

Edit:
Flashget even downloads torrents(and very well I must add) never had a problem with it.

I also have that installed!

Getright is my download manager... which i mainly use for large downloads.

For smaller downloads I just let Firefox do it.

Downthemall lets me grab all linked images in a page in one go.

Flashgot lets me build a gallery out of a range of images, eg. Bird001.jpg to Bird099.jpg. I can then save the entire page in one go.

Bulk Image Downloader lets me get all the other images that the above two cannot handle. BID will go and grab all images in a gallery that are not directly linked.

Perfect solutions for all my nature pics! ;)
