Can Cell C also give free email like what Vodacom had on their 4me site? Believe they called it "zero-rated". That will be a huge plus in joining the opposition.

But why? There are heaps of fantastic free e-mail providers that you can use... G-Mail goes like a Boeing on my phones :) Even with EDGE on my I-Phone.
OP means free as in downloading attachments does not count towards one's cap. As far as I know only iBurst have this facility.

Yes I do. iBurst has this? Really?

Might consider their R49 or something deal then if that is still available. Wait, I don't think I have coverage.

I never used the "free vodamail", but AFAIK it wasn't zero-rated. It is is in any case never a good idea to be bound by a service provider!

I only forwarded my mail to it to download it. I have all the data logged to show it was zero-rated. I'm surprised so few people actually knew about it which is why I don't understand why Vodacom would stop it and alienate their source of income.

Anyway I think this would be a good thing for Cell C to have and can now make them unique if they advertised it. Even though I don't see anything wrong with their adverts it will be much better to advertise something that the others don't have, even if it is something small.
