oh, yeah... oops. Sorry... that is a university FTP site and nothing stays there very long. It gets deleted within a week.

But even if you got the game... what we mean is that none of us have been able to get the game working in South Africa. So don't waste your time downloading it until we can get it working.

I have the solution!!

Hey guys i know this thread is old, but hopefully you guys will get notices when i post this. :)

anyways to cut to the chase...i downloaded Combat Arms a few days ago only to sadly discover, after specially buying an extra 1GB, that Combat Arms only for U.S players, ok well until now the Europe guys have been included as well after much complaining :)

i looked and looked and found the solution to play Combat Arms anywhere in the WORLD!! woohoo!! and yes i have played it and it works :)
so if you guys are amped please reply then i will do a bit of effort and type out nicely how you have to go to accomplish it!!

Happy new years! and merry Christmas eventho its past already! :)

I downloaded this months ago and as with everyone was a complete waste...Whats the secret?
 
i did post it, but its needs to be approved or something first...then again this post also my not come up then hahaha
 
P.S please restart your pc before you do this, it needs to be fresh coz you cant do a restart midway!

1) register a free account on http://www.your-freedom.net and download YourFreedom (11MB).
2) Log in into the "your-freedom" site after the mail-confirmation.
3) Now click on "Account" and on the left side of the screen on Try Before You Buy.
4) Choose "Enhanced" on the menu and then on "Start test driving".
5) Now you can install Your Freedom and click on "Configuration Wizard" and ever click "next", at the last answer it ask to choose the server when we want to connect.
6) Choose a "US" server..not UK, DE or other. from the top of the list of servers i just took the 1st "US Server" i found.
7) Now it will ask to insert your account.
8) Ok your freedom it setup. Now download ProxyCap now http://www.proxycap.com/download/pcap314_x86.msi
This link does not exist anymore but you can download the new version 3.15 of ProxyCap from their homepage...only problem is its a 30 day trial period, so if anyone could find a crack that would be helpful coz i definitely want to play longer than 30 days!
9) Install it WITHOUT a restart and configure it same as that screen

these screen shots come from some italian guy but you will figure it just use your brain
10) After that go to your freedom app and click on "connect".
11) Now open combat arms, make the login, return to your desktop (alt+tab) and close ONLY ProxyCap. you have to close ProxyCap when you have already logged into Combat Arms, or else you will get an uber load of glitches!!
12) Return to Combat Arms and choose the server!!!!!!
13) Add me as your friend on Combat Arms :P i want SA buddies there!! (Username: TheHxckid)

So the next time if you want to play, you simply open the 2 programmes :)
I have found though, that after restarting your computer ProxyCap for some reason gives an error, simply uninstall and do steps 8 and 9 again. but you wont have to reconfigure the setting on ProxyCap again

This should work...well it did for me and im no genius at proxy stuff

i got an error today but that was only coz both your-freedom and ProxyCap are trial programs and access, but if anyone can follow this same method maybe with different software it should work....but it did work though :)
