Free Huawei watch GT when pre-order

Hi all,

Has anyone who got their new Mate 20 Pro received their free watch GT yet.
 
No, should arrive at the beginning of December according to Huawei
 
I have gotten 2 calls, and a waybill (with the wrong address on it)
 
I called the Huawei customer care line around the 14 or 15th of November to inquire when the watch would be delivered. The gentlemen had a look and advised I was Number 201 on the list. I received mine last week Wednesday (28/11). Received the waybill via email on Monday (26/11).
 
Thanks, got mine sorted through twitter.

Eagerly awaiting delivery.

My partner & I both pre-ordered the Mate 20 Pro via Telkom Mobile online. We have received the handsets but neither of us have received the watch. We both received this message from Telkom on 19/11/2018 :

"Telkom SA: Thank you for ordering an Huawei Mate 20 Pro with Telkom. We are currently awaiting the Huawei GT Watch stock, from Huawei and you will be notified once stock has been made available. Kindly email us at [email protected] should you require assistance. Thank you for choosing Telkom. "

Firstly the email supplied does not work. Emails to this address simply bounce. Called in last week on 30/11/2018 to follow up and spoke to call centre agent Emily Naidoo. She first told me that there was no such pre-order deal - Yes really. Thereafter she escalated the matter but have received no feedback whatsoever. Telkom does not even issue a ticket or reference no. for follow up.

Thank you received GT this morning, just finished setting up. Awesome piece of kit, now to source some Hauwei Freebuds, as using Samsung Level Flex and Samsung Level U just seems wrong when combined with mate20pro

Hi,

Is there a way to check if my claim is going to be verified? I have received the "Thank you for submitting your claim" email but nothing since then.

I do not want to loose out on the watch, it was the main reason I went for the Mate 20.

Good question , I would also like to know this .

Got a Mate 20 , registered and when I queried with Huawei via e mail on the GT watch I am told it takes 30 working days to verify the claim , really 30 working days , that's crazy .

Yeah tell me about it . I tried calling them to get an update as both myself and my wife are waiting for them but just got told the 30 working days story . They were honestly not even bothered to try and check on the progress of it or anything .

Actually rather frustrating why not just bundle the watch with the phone and make things so much easier for everyone ..........
