I see Afrihost / Axxess now charge an activation fee - which they haven't done for ages.

Which ISP's still cover install / activation on Vuma's network?

I'm a new installation.

Pay the installation, it's worth it in the end, since most, if not all, ISPs who cover the install fee will have a clawback if you cancel before x months..

If you are not happy with the ISP, a month after signing up, you would pay the install fee anyway to be able to move..

Very few in fact if Afrihost ans Axxess no longer offer it I believe it's just Supersonic that is left BUT that is a 24 month commitment or you will pay pro back when you cancel.

I would not recommend Supersonic based on my personal experience but as always it might differ from someone else.

Thanks - but I've already got an early cancellation with a WISP - so I don't want to pay twice (if I don't have to).

Seacom covered my installation and activation and confirmed in writing that there is no clawback. That is when it still was MacroLan, though. Don't know if they kept that policy when they were bought by Seacom.

Home connect offers free installation, but they are more expensive than mind the speed who does not cover the install.
