Free Local File Mirror

The IP is 41.204.202.41 - IOW Local site. Strange that it went over my Intl account. :confused:

what's happened to this? didn't last long. didn't expect it to though - bandwidth intensive stuff like this just cant thrive in this country, that's why you dont see any big youtube-like or filesharing sites in SA. sad stuff :/
 
Was a nice gesture to share it, but could (and most likely) be abused :( IMO a service like this would be great for paying customers who often download large files off international servers.
 
was the IP Address static or dynamic? cos obviously normal adsl lines IP Addresses are dynamic and that would explain why this IP doesn't work anymore. if it's dynamic, what he should do is get it registered with www.dyndns.org. then he can give his "Site" a name. then whenever the IP changes, it won't matter, all we would have to do is type the name of the site and we can continue using it. but don't tell Telkom ;)

It's not? Strange ;)

I know this script has major abuse potential, thats why it needs to be "secured" before you just make it available to the public like that.
