has anyone ever heard of this program. it allows you to play backup ps2 games> How does it work? I was told it works via a memory card instead of a chip. Is this possible?

yip does work! I've successfully used it on both my phat and my slim (an "made cards" for many my mates...so they can backup their originals). It works pretty well for most games, except WILL NOT work for older CD-based games (purple) or new DL games (gold).
In very simple terms, it tricks the ps2 into thinking its booting a DVD-video disc and hence launches your backup.
