i think you need to give more information on what exactly you are looking for , do you have a media server setup at home , is it just for playing on your pc ,

Seeing as this is the Android section I would hazard a guess and say it is for a phone or an Android media player.

I use MX Player for my media on my phone.

VLC? XBMC? WinAmp? It all depends what features you are after? I found PowerAmp was the only player to manage it's own music folders so I use that, paid for though.

I like Dice player (POP-UP Play feature is pretty cool if you have a bigger screen on your device), but have look at MX player also.
