free resource for Apache Tomcat 7 training?

Anyone know of a free resource for Apache Tomcat 7 training material?
I run a tomcat server with a few simple web apps on it, but I've never really understood the tomcat well... it just sort of works... except when it doesn't and then i have to restart, and then i don't know what the problem really was and.... and ... and ... blah .. blah ... blah.. .. ...
I need some real training.
But free.
Cos the boss is not gonna pay for it

Which is what I've used until now. But I haven't been able to find a resource that guides one through (in a tutorial / instructor-led format) the way things actually work inside Tomcat (in detail, from the moment a new request hits the machine, including ways to track/trace/monitor each of the steps), as well as ways to get the best out of Tomcat.

Thing is, I'll never really open a book. But I'll definitely sit down in front of my PC and go through a tutorial. Not really sure how that works... I guess I still have unresolved university trauma issues.

I doubt if a tutorial is going to give you the depth you seem to be looking for. I guess either face your fear or stay in bed.
