Few words....

60+ ping, can hardly open web pages during the day, and nothing can be done to fix it they say..

As well they said that they cannot garente fast adsl.

looking for ANY suggestions on what we can do to fix this!
 
I suppose you are on IS ADSL.

My ping test to www.google.com on a 512K uncapped IS ADSL account.

Pinging www.l.google.com [64.233.179.104] with 32 bytes of data:

Nope Telkom accounts and all.
1024 dsl gets 60+ as well

lucky bastid :(, best I get is 90, on SAIX or IS Local.

I guess its the distance that makes the difference, but a ping of 60 isn't something to complain bout IMO, but the fact that webpages dont load is, but I think the might not only be there in the Free state, my SAIX acc has been quite slow today aswell, while IS is flying.
