I received one of Telkom's free routers when I signed up for self install and it seems to work perfectly through the ethernet ports but I just cannot get my laptop to connect wirelessly.

It sees the router fine, connects seemingly fine but then pops up saying I have limited or no connectivity...

I can't find what the problem is, does anyone here know?

I'm sure it has to do with your wireless security. Try a different option, start with the simplest e.g. WEP then WPA-PSK and then WPA2. Your laptop and router has to have the same security protocol. JayN

It is currently set with no security... Open connection?

Supersun, I think I'll keep it :), I have a Linksys wireless router which I will just plug into the Ethernet port if I can't get this stupid thing to work.

I want to bridge my Linksys with my Marconi...

hey, had exactly the same issues with the marconi router. removed all security settings and it worked. maybe that's the plan, telkom get you to open your connection to all and sundry so that they sell as much bandwidth as possible.

okay, before i get crucified, i'm only joking about the above!
