i was just wondering if anyone plays these types of games. i know these games are very boring for some, but i have played them for over 3yrs now.

they are good for playing at work :D

i currently play raginguniverse.net and feudaluniverse.com
 
Man, haven't heard MUD in ages :p
The guys used to play it at Varsity ... ± early nineties

Currently play medievia - medievia.com - have been doing so for about 10 years now, still playing and playing, try it out.

Hey guys, I just found a webgame. Its layout appears better than the normal. And its guild system also seems very strong, we players can cooperate together or form union with our friends. Anyone interested in it? its URL:http://lord.webmmo.com/
 
Used to play utopia. But its addictive to the point that it started being a problem with regards to work lol Im a big fan of text based strategy games, but a few graphics would force a little more sense into the game with regards to location, reach, etc. I even ended up making my own little rip of a utopia based game that I wrote. Utopia has spawned alot of games that are alike. Even a visual warlords 3 style version.

My greatest moment was being 8th elf on the world charts for a while on battlefields server!!! I think like 60k ppl were playing at that time. My best millitary conquest was tapping an undead for 680 acres, and reaching Baron status with regards to honor. My kingdom also made it to 7th in the world once! ^_^ We were constantly at war with #2 in the world because they were also on our island and would hit us everytime we came out of war a little land fat. Great game! Alliances basically ruin the game for anyone that wants to be good at something I'm afraid.. =( No ONE kingdom can stand against them. We were always getting chained by those sobs because we weren't in an alliance..

I use to play Mozart MUD, still log in now and then with a new character to run around a bit

I have given dook's link a bash. It's still in alpha testing and there are lots of things to iron out still...... no manual to speak of, in game tooltips need fixing, have to email the gm to get daily gems (cannot buy them). The game is called Lords of the Evil. Oh and the 'engrish' is rather funny. I still log in daily to do some empire building.

I started playing Imperia Online. It's a lot more refined than LOTE and will have a look at Utopia this afternoon.
