You will pay for thre 'free' SMSs by paying per minute billing for the 1st minute. Nothing is for free. Slack Virgin Mobile service also comes bundled with it. AVOID>!!

this would be a pretty cool service if I was still in school...years ago when 6110s just came out and sms's were bloody expensive....

But yeah...now I'm grown and need to call....still not a bad plan though, taking it that u dont call

Two or 3 times before I would just lose signal for a couple of hours... it seems to be working fine now... Note that in the contract or something it says they can cancel your free sms's if they think you are abusing it... so be careful!

I have one of those and I am loving it! I say if it works for you go for it if not dont! Simple as that!

I say: Virgin is rubbish and you should avoid them at all cost. Rather get MTN and an SMS bunde @ R50 for 200 SMS'.
