FreePBX and Bitco SIP Trunk

Hi All

I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I have some knowledge on VOIP and FreePBX but this has generally been with Liquid Telecom dedicated SIP trunks.

I have recently moved to a Bitco SIP trunk at one of our sites and been having an issue where the trunk would just drop after a while. It would seem that it would come back after a while or if I go into the trunk settings and just click save and apply it would also come back on-line.

I suspect it's a setting (time-out or something) that I am missing somewhere and would really appreciate if someone can point me in the right direction please.

Please paste your sip config for Bitco?
Bitco uses Asterisk as well so you may need some special settings. Asterisk is not a proper SIP softswitch.

Well my advice - avoid Bitco at all costs. Clients fibre went down on Thursday, was up thursday afternoon, client still doesn't have incoming voice calls (outgoing work). Why - old session got stuck on Bitco's .10 SBC, still waiting for someone to clear it, that was 4 days ago.
