Stupidly deleted the folder from my drive AND backup drive :erm:

Does anyone know of a good free (or at least cheap) file recovery program for Mac?

You won't find GOOD and FREE used in the same sentence as file recovery, unfortunately. But, that said, your luck is in.

Diskdrill (demo available) usually costs $90 but is currently part of the MacLegion bundle, where all 10 titles cost $50.

Maybe you will even find value in the other 9 apps.

There are others but before buying ANY of these, read their reviews on MacUpdate.com - some are plain terrible.

Data Rescue is also pretty good and it also costs a lot ($99) but it too is part of a current bundle, the MacUpdate one.

Review both - and if either is good enough from the demo to find your file, look at the two bundles and go for the bundle that gives you other tools you may need.

Oh, edit: your sig: the plural for logo really is logos. You'll do yourself no favours as a designer if your grammar is poor. Drop the apostrophe.

Disktool. It works on a multiple filesystems, but difficult to use.
