I want to get a chest freezer as the fridge's freezer is so freakin tiny.

Will it increase my electricity bill by a lot? Looking at a 200l+-

It will stand in the garage as well due to space in the house. The garage doesn't have insulation in the ceiling...doesn't even have a ceiling so it might get hot in there.

Energy cons. annual (l) (2010/30/EC) :180
That's for some random chest freezer I pulled off the net (some AEG 200L)

So 15 units a month (0.5 / day), obviously dependant on ambient temperature. So I'd work on a worst case of 1 unit / day

Dear OP, we have one in the garage, a big one... the floodlight in the yard uses more power.

Get a A energy efficient one. Defy used to be gr8 but not anymore.
Beware of too much dust.
