i have read a few posts regarding a similar issue however not sure if this is a problem related to this modem. I have a black E1820 speedstick connected to a Air3G router which operates perfectly fine. Few hours later (about 6-8 hours or so) the connection suddenly freezes and you are required to restart the router for normal operation. Few hours later same story and so on. I am not frustrated as yet however I can feel a frustration attack comming on very soon! :(

Anyone experiencing a similar siutation with your speedstick connected to a router? any advise?

Please elaborate on what you mean by "freezes".

I'm assuming you mean you can no longer access the internet.
When this happens, are you able to ping your router? Are you able to visit www.cellc.co.za?

@neetz

Might be more of a Cell C thing rather than a router thing. How's the range of that router by the way? Very keen to find out!!
I remember you were having problems setting it up. How did you get it right?

freezing meaning that you can no longer access the internet without removing the usb stick from the router or merely pulling the plug and resetting the entire router with modem. you cannot ping anything. a dead internet connection.

range of the router is awesome! i can almost supply my entire complex with a connection ;) router also has a built in hotspot function which works quite nicely as well! ive dropped the output range to provide coverage to my place more or less....

as for the problems i returned the E1752 package for a refund and bought the 60gb package with E1820 modem.
