Frequent disconnects

It seems Iburst is going the way of Sentech. I am getting hundreds of disconnects a day - signal quality is 80 - 90%.

Connecting to Tower 22 (Constantia Kloof)

Anyone else having a similar problem ?

If I'm correct that BS is overloaded it's mostly unusable... but I could be wrong

I will recommend that you check the following as per creed's suggestion

Or log a query and demad a techie out

It's most likely the cause of a congested tower. Check your tower load on UTTS.

Here's the really interesting thing. I didn't mention that I had downloaded 8Gb while capped (bringing my total to 17Gb). I though I would "buy" more bandwidth to see if it was a general problem, or if they were just targeting me.............. about an hour after buying more bandwith, the disconnects stopped. Co-incidence ?

You get put on a lower priority when you're capped. Lots of crap doesn't work for me when I'm capped (Eg, Torrents and Iming programs CANNOT be run at the same time while capped for me or else the IM will constantly reconnect)

It's shoddy.....but it's better than no internet after cappage.
