Freshphone - no backspace

When using freshphone on a menu service there is no way to clear the numbers entered to enter a new number. Am I missing something??
 
Trying to understand, do you mean when in the App, you type the phone number wrong, you want to back space and correct number?
 
Not the phone number. That does have a backspace. But once you are through to a company and you have to choose a department by entering a number, say 5, then it asks you to enter your ID or membership number. Now you can't backspace to remove the 5 before entering you ID number, so your ID has a 5 in front of it making it incorrect. I hope I have explained clearly.
 
But let's say the prom is press 5 for accounts and then you press 5 and then it prompts you to enter your ID number and you start punching it even if the 5 is there it won't send the 5 tone again so you won't have to erase/back space itbefore entering your ID number for example.
 
Thanks for that. I could not get it right. Maybe there was a dropout on my internet. It does happen. Thanks for the response.
 
What does this have to do with Freshphone though? Surely it's a problem with whatever device you're using.
 
You are correct. I mis-judged where the fault was. My internet was on and off and I could not complete the call.
