Okay to give you a little background, about a month back I gave the 500GB drive that was in my HTPC to my dad (he needed a temp drive) and replaced it with one of the 250GB I got with the HP Microserver. Was in a rush to get the HTPC up and running some decided to use XBMCBuntu. Loaded a lot quicker than I could have downloaded a windows 7 iso, install with associated drivers etc.
Only problem is the lack of .rar support. Doing some investigation I found rarlib wasn't being packaged with xbmc because of licensing issues. Tried the alternative repo, ran into issues and decided to just go back to Windows. Finished installing and I still can't see the Compressed files. Is now a restriction of xbmc on all platforms?
