I would not be surprised if they used the "stack 'em high and sell 'em cheap" business model, then as soon as someone starts using, they get rid of him.
No WISP or FISP can do that today and think they can get away with it. Most of the good WISPs are licenced radios between their towers with anything from 1Gb to 10Gb backhaul. Then, if you look at those towers, you'll see the sectors are being replaced with those noise cancelling horns.
@portcullis recently did one of those above Macassar.
Now they're selling this to the people in that area:

These guys had a huge argument with me on Facebook a while ago when a post came about the need for uncapped fibre in a neighbourhood group. Someone that works for them went off at me saying how people like me are the reason they can't make money (ironic enough my usage is probably like 500GB per month max) and the only way to run a good network is to shape people and ensure they use as little data as possible... At the time they were advertising their products and for like R900 you could get a 50/5 Vumatel line but the FUP was 100GB... and you would need to pay like R300 more to go to premium and premium was not even uncapped...

I signed up with Supersonic originally. That was decent until it wasn't anymore.
I then looked for a new ISP so it was either Seacom (Macrolan back then) or Nexus as I found their pricing competitive.
When I enquired I was first asked how much I used and what package. So I opt for the gold I think it was as it was mentioned as being unshaped. I use about 2TB or so a month sometimes less sometimes more and they told me sorry you are not welcome here you use too much data.
I have the emails to back my statement above so yeah so much for advertising uncapped,unshaped and unlimited data. I dodged a bullet there and at the end choosing Afrihost worked out very well for me.
