Frogfoot Pietermaritzburg - live?

Hi Guys

Not sure if this topic has been covered but i would like to know how long does it take for the Frogfoot network to go live?
All infrastructure has been installed and Blitzfibre has run fibre in our complex. I've applied and have been approved for service from Vox but its been stuck on the 'provisioning' status for some weeks now. I've spoke to a Vox rep at one of their marketing campaigns and he advised that the 'Nodes' are being activated and this shouldn't take very long. A neighbor of mine contacted Vox and he was told that the network will be active by the end of November. The Frogfoot site also does not indicate any live dates so i'm quite confused at the moment.

I'm assuming you're in Pelham?

I've spotted a hole the municipality has dug and they cut what I think might be a frogfoot cable. It's been a few weeks now they still didn't fill the hole, so if it is frogfoot's cable that's been cut, I have no idea when it will be repaired.

Thank for the info and yes i'm in Topham Road, Pelham.
So is anybody live or has been live on the Frogfoot Network in the area?

As far as I know, nobody is live yet. The coverage map indicates the end of July. Looking at how they've progressed in that area so far, I don't think that date estimation is unrealistic.

EDIT: My bad, looking again, your side of Pelham indicates end of October

Thanks, i suppose we have to wait to hear from Frogfoot in this case. Guess its back to battling on the Rain network.

Same here. Bisley area

So far all Frogfoot seem to be doing is wandering around from intersection to intersection covering things up then digging them up again. Rinse and repeat.

No wait I lie. They also push cable through. Then pull it out again. Rinse and repeat.

Quick update!! Scottsville/Pelham Frogfoot network in now live since the 1st of September.. Awaiting installation :)
