From PC to PS3...

I''m a COD4 Hardcore SAIX Server player (PC).

Bought the PS3 GOW3 bundle yesterday and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 as an added extra.(too see what all the fuss is about)

Hooked up the PS3 to my Wireless connection. (384k line - Do2 package).

I must have played for 5 hours yesterday, multiplayer ONLINE and NOT once did i experience ANY lag...
I have been knocked clean out of my boots with this device and game. The netcode is INSANE...

So in ending.... PS3 BC2 Multiplayer via the PS3's wireless adapter is insane with no lag on a 384k line. I'm still shocked, didn't think it would even be playable as per my experiences on the PC.

This is true. Had the same experience with a friend playing bioshock 2 on a 384k line. Lots of stuff would be going on and everything was smooth with absolutely no lag.

Why would there be lag? 384k is fast enough if you ain't raiding in WoW. I'm sure even 128k would work fine to an extent.

I also use a 384k line and I have no lag on Xbox LIVE with Modern Warfare 2 either. I only have bad memories of SAIX to be honest

I hope this is the same for the xbox, I'm slowly making a move away from PC to xbox, multiplayer is a big part of gaming these days, I cant see myself buying a game that does not have decent online gameplay.

Not sure how many players in Battlefield, but i have been playing online with a PS3, 384k line, and 60 online players for Resistance 2. Never had a moments lag. I have on occasion even come in first, and quite often in the top ten. This is no indication of my skill, but to show that lag wasn't an issue at all.
