Our new web products are built in ASP.NET MVC 5 with Bootstrap. You should have an excellent understanding of HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, jQuery and Javascript, as well as experience sourcing and implementing third party visual and functional components via Visual Studio NuGet Package Manager and/or other sources. You should also have a good understanding of C# .NET.

You will work closely with our Director of Product Design, implementing wireframes and ensuring that our products look good and provide an excellent user experience. We have newly renovated offices in Rondebosch, and offer an enjoyable, dynamic working environment with a foosball table and awesome lunches on Fridays.

1. Requirements
- A university degree or relevant diploma
- 2 – 4 years of systems development experience in ASP.NET MVC, Bootstrap, HTML 5 and CSS
- Preferences:
- An Honours degree or equivalent
- Additional experience with C# or VB.NET and SQL Server
- Some post-university experience, be it work or travel.
2. Scope of Duties
- Learn about the property industry and contribute to the technical and functional evolution of all our products.
- Front end development of web based portals. This would be the primary focus, the role would not be limited to this, and other responsibilities may include the following:
- Systems Development
- Programmatic maintenance and enhancement (including new development) of the various components comprising the product suite, specifically:
- ERP property management system
- Web APIs
- This includes analysis, design, technical specifications, programming, testing, code reviews, peer check-ins and user documentation.
- Programmatic maintenance and enhancement (including new development) of the various components comprising the product suite, specifically:
- Technical Support
- Member of the Technical Support team.
- Assist with complex support queries which require further analyses.
- Perform technical services
- And any other duties that may reasonably be requested in an office environment
