ShopDirect is the largest online storefront provider in South Africa. We have been designing and developing eCommerce websites for over six years. We are based in Noordhoek at the Noordhoek Farm Village, nestled in one of the most beautiful valleys in the Western Cape.
We are expanding, and we’re looking for a young, fresh, passionate individual to become a part of our company and bring a unique flair and flavour to our team.
If you have talent, drive and ambition, and want to gain a wealth of experience in web design and eCommerce, then this may be the position for you.

The Job
 Develop and Design E-Commerce websites for a wide variety of clients in many different industries.
 Code and maintain websites.
 Front-end web development (in HTML and CSS)
 Use the proprietary ShopDirect eCommerce platform to set up online stores.
 Receive tasks from a Project Manager.
 Receive briefs, guidance, direction and further training from a senior designer and Art Director.

Skills Required
 At least 1 year of work experience in front-end web design and development.
 Expert user of Adobe Photoshop (CS5 or higher).
 Expertise in (X)HTML and CSS2.
 The ability to work with legacy
 Web design skills (usability, findability principles).
 Time-management and self-management skills.
 Passionate about web design, web technology and the internet.
 A positive work ethic.
