Been hunting for R.S 220's for over a year now and nothing. Only seen one or two R.S F18(yeah just R.S220 with batches and all black) on sale and a lot of R.S 200's. I've given up on them, looked for a Megane R.S 275 but I gave up too. I'll wait and build some courage to go VAG in 3 years, wish me luck, had an R.S 200 2 months ago as a loaner when my car went for a gearbox repair. That car was just too good.

Sorry to say I wouldn't trust most meg 3s on the market. They often have been tuned wrong or just not taken care of. Or you going to spend alot. Go to some outside town.

In terms of clio trophy/rs18. It's either cheap and badly taken care of/messes up or decent and very overpriced

Also had one. For a week. When they were released in SA in 2015.
Had it on order for such a long time and it got delivered at my local dealership end of Apr 2015.

Went away to the coast for the weekend, and while there found out my girlfriend was pregnant. Took delivery on the monday. Sold it on the friday.

Naturally I HAD to test the Line Lock burnout feature. I mean wtf? How can they give you the feature to lock the front brakes and do burnouts and not test it? This was on my way to the dealer I was selling it to lmfao.

The first one is very shady, the second one I haven't personally checked it from that dealer. I kind of held back from the 275's especially the last ones as they're known to have a bearing failure in the gearbox. My current car churned its output shaft bearing which also destroyed 2 synchros and costed R39k to fix including brand new oem dm flywheel and clutch kit. Not fun at all but warranty prevailed.
