Frost the new Mage dps spec.

Ok frost sucked this far with dps i was always at the bottom from lvl 13-22.Last nigth i saw what frost dps really is went into RFK with a hunter lvl 33
Warlock lvl 33 and a drood lvl 28 myself lvl 28 and i out dpsed the lock and hunter no mana pots. :D
 
At your level dps is really scewed. But a fire mage would possibly still out dps you. Frost tend to be the save spec, while fire the dps spec. Levels 60-69 Arcane have some nice dps, but at 70 again fire and frost pulls ahead. It is also quite gear dependant but you will have to see what works for you. I was frost from level 10-60 and switched back to frost at level 70 for pvp reasons.
But then again when I leveled my toon the game was mostly still on patch 0 :p And the game have went through a lot of changes.

I saw my dps skyrocket with shard and shatter frost nova 5 mobs cold cone then blizzard very enjoyable combo only works well when tank pulls them close
together.

werries2 is a bit mistaken there. In general fire dps is way better than frost/arcane. Frost is the best leveling and pvp spec. Arcane is the best end game dps spec once you have good enough gear (2xT5) and lots of mana potions
 
My mage is now lvl 47 Fire and speced 11/26/1 which gives me 520 hits most of the time and I've crit 1014 at times :D

Fire is where I'll stay for now :)

Fire is nice when you got a army infront of you to hide behind then you can top dps meters and by far out dps frost mages.But i like my Crowd control saved us from group wipes more than once.I dont know if this is true but i heard fire/arcanre pyro/pom
classcanon is the best burst damage and best for pvp can do masive damege in few secs.

I like the cc cause my latency suck(500-900ms) so it kinda helps to stop thing where they stand.
 
3min mage ftl...

sure it boosts your dmg for 15secs, after that wait another 3min to do that high dmg again, its nice 1 on 1 in pvp, not so good for pve tho
 
At the end of the day Petruz.....irrespective of your spec, im still gonna wtfpwn you with my warrior :P

If you think he sucked you should have seen the waroir we had before we invited you he ninjas cloth to disenchant it lol.
 
I better get my Insignia of the Horde trinket.

But i dont understand how this guy could roll need on both a shield and a 2h axe.
Im pretty sure he wanted Corpsemaker to disenchant too.
Anyway.
Bought my Frostreaver helmet this morning.
I actually bought both that was for sale, cos they are quite rare.
They were at good prices. So i put the one back up for sale at double price :P.
 
Doesn't stance dancing break frost nova :P ?

Corpsemaker is an IMBA shammy weap btw, if hes specced enhance... its very slow = huge WF crits when it procs

True...my mage's specs doesn't allow it to take damage...dies very easy :P lol

Well i had a this weekend i really enjoyed my frost mage ganking alliance :D .But something got to me i kinda felt sorry for these alliance noobs(not really the lock was coming from xroads after ganking my budie lvl12 i just got out of rfk and there he was lol)after the second time you kill them and camp them they give up and stand still for you to kill no resistance happened twice this weekend once with a lock that tried to kill me lvl 30 i was lvl 31 and a shamie that was lvl
44 he tried to gank me and a hunter budie of mine we were grinding quest near raceway took me by suprise almost killed me but made the mistake to turn on the hunter and i got a chance to cast lol note i was lvl 34 my budie lvl 31 frostbite plus 2 crits and he droped after we camped him killed him twice after that then he just gave up the 3rd time didnt even bother runing lol.I will never leave my body after gank and accept rez sickness
unless they camp me for hours.:D
