Well I'm not sure, I've been checking everyday to see if updates were available. Damn 2.2 never been around, I Checked yesterday even!! and I've been reading for a couple months on rooting etc... But today I just checked my updates again and it had the 2.2 available. Downloaded straight away! I am on Vodacom with HTC Desire.
Just figured I'd say something as dunno how long this will stay there for heh

Froyo's been available in SA since October I think. All you had to do was go to a MTN store with a LEAF kiosk and they would update it for you.On topic though,I also got an update but it was merely a mail app and keyboard update.

You didn't happen to note down what your firmware version was before you started upgrading, or how many updates were available for you to install?

Seriously I have sent leaf numerous emails, calls and requests for Froyo (on HTC legend) not once did they mention it was possible to go to a leaf kiosk and get it updated.

The have been far to busy getting their knickers in a twist over OTA, when most people would find updating via their PC so much easier.

In the end I had to download the RUU (Why leaf dont have this for download on their site as its official I will never know). Worst customer service ever!

*rant off*
