Now with this new LFG system I have seen that about 90% of peeps need on the Frozen orbs. What do you normally do?

I hold back until I see what the others roll... First person that rolls need, I roll need. But then again, those orbs are so cheap nowdays... not even worth winning them. Think they are going for 3 gold each on our AH now.

I hold back and see who needs as well. Had some bloke spamming in Trade that he has 4 orbs to sell for 20g. Needless to say, he got spammed back for being an idiot seeing it vendors for 5g each. :p

Greed. I have about 40 of them in banks across my two 80's. No idea what to use them for. Maybe levelling BS some more on my dk.

I've always clicked greed, although, I'm hoping for a day someone needs it... another marker for pug bingo :p

I usually greed, but that's because I have alchemy and don't use them. I have about 16 of them in my bank. Once in a while I'll take a couple of them out and put them on the AH, but they're only average on the AH.

I do agree on waiting to see what the other players do before making a choice though.

Always used 2 greed on orbs as standard, but now with so many idiots from all the servers there is always one that needs, so I guess I'm just also needing now and not even looking @ it anymore

I tell the party at the beginning of the run that I will be needing the orb so they should need to if they want it.

Well I ask the party what they intend to roll (need or greed) and then just go with the flow.

I used to use them in lving my JC but now that Im maxed they are starting to pile up, have about 12 now.

After my first few times of losing them because 1 or 2 need when the rest greed, I just click need for them in PUG's these days. But yeah, it's not like they have much use anymore, and I have way more than I can see myself using, something like 50 of the damn things piled up across various toons.

On a slightly related note, who else thinks that crafting needs to be expanded a little now? There are the ilvl 245 items that are available to raiders, and then to the rest of the population at grossly inflated prices. But other than that there's not a whole lot of point to crafting proffs which can only make ilvl 200 items right now given the drops you can farm from ToC5 and the ICC 5 man content are far better, making those ilvl200 items really cost innefective.
I'm not thinking a huge upgrade to what crafters can make, just a small selection of say ilvl 219-226 items to complement what drops in the current set of content that can fill out the gaps in the drops & badge items.

I need because they still go for about 30g a piece on my server - and I still need my epic flying skill :P

I agree, they need to add in some 226 recipes as well. Also the lvl200 items' mats cost way more than what they are worth now. For example the titansteel destroyer. Crappy weapon that cost's way too much mats wise.

They should have a look at all profession as well, they only buffed JC,BS if feels, but Alc got no love...still ahve the same stuff...

I think Blizzard are going to be more careful about the crafted items, since TBC. They stated that the crafted items in TBC where a bit overpowered, especially tailoring.

I wouldnt want crafted items to be an alternative to raid drops, but rather a way of getting ready for raids and then having the odd item which is exceptional in some way.

Engineering is probably close to being in the right place now. The equipable items are rubbish, but things like repair bots and the chopper make it a useful raid prof and a fun prof at the same time. Although I think engineering should get better item enchants, for different slots that tailoring, lw and bs do.

I agree that the professions need to keep pace with ICC level, but Naxx, Ulduar and Toc should still be the primary source of gear to raid ICC. Professions should provide no more than 2 or 3 items tops. Maybe even 3 items is too much.

Regarding crafted items, I should be able to purchase the best belt in the game from a crafter of each type of belt, but, only the belt.

Levelling a craft in this game is useless, your created items simply will not sell.

Tradeskills are pretty worthless now, the only reason to take say for eg blacksmithing is to be able to socket your gloves/bracers. The titansteel stuff is, i suppose, okay for an absolute beginner but with badge stuff being so prevalent now their worth has largely fallen by the wayside. The boe raid-drop recipes are nice as well but prices are absolutely exhorbitant.

As a healer, if the group gave me **** during the run I need on frozen orbs. Especially if there's an ******* rogue who always roll greed while everyone else roll for DE
